Designing from the Florida Coast

There's something about the Florida coast that changes the way you see color.

The golden hour in New Smyrna Beach doesn't just last an hour — it lingers. The light goes amber, then rose, then deep teal as the sun dips below the horizon. The sand shifts from white to cream to warm sandstone. The ocean fades from turquoise to deep navy.

These are the colors of Solmaris. Not chosen from a Pantone swatch, but lived in. Observed. Felt.

When we design a new piece, we don't start with trends. We start with the landscape. The sun-washed texture of a driftwood log. The soft, worn-in feel of a fisherman's jacket. The way linen wrinkles look beautiful instead of messy when you're sitting on a pier at sunset.

New Smyrna Beach isn't just our mailing address. It's our muse. And if you've ever spent a morning walking the shore here, you'll recognize that feeling in every Solmaris piece you pull on.
